Planet Vision believes in creating opportunities for people to become involved in photography. We work closely with organisations such as Creative Partnerships, Planet Sound Community Arts and the Manchester Art Gallery to involve people in digital photography. Throughout 2007 we continued our successful programme of helping people to create digital stories by working with community groups in Manchester. In 2008 we will be working with young people in our home town to create a photographic record of the area.

The Tern Valley Project.

A group of young people from Market Drayton Youth Centre worked with us over the summer on a photography project. We aimed to illustrate their reactions to the town and its relationship with the surrounding countryside on which the local economy is based. Some of the results can be seen here. The work was on display in the town's library throughout July.
